Hello!  I am so excited for another year at Palisades!  This will be my fifth year in Gretna Public Schools and my 18th year as a librarian.  Sharing a love of reading and a love of learning are my passions.  

After almost 18 years in Colorado, I am excited to be back in Nebraska! I graduated from UNL with a BS in Elementary Education (GO HUSKERS!) and earned my MA from the University of Colorado-Denver in Information and Learning Technologies K-12.  My NE School Librarian K-12 Endorsement was earned through UNO. 

My husband Tim and I have two daughters.  Madison is an RN in Denver and Megan is on her journey to become a radiographer through Clarkson College.  We love to spend time outside, cook, road trip, and (of course) cheer on the Huskers!

It's hard to believe that this is my 11th year at Palisades! There are so many things I enjoy about the working in library. One of the best things is helping kids find books they are excited to read and to watch their love of reading grow! 

My family and I moved to Gretna in 2013 from Minnesota. Nebraska has truly become home to us. My husband Garrett and I have one daughter, Kylie, who graduated from Gretna High School in 2024. 

In my free time, I like to read, watch tv/movies, play games, thrift, and hang out with my family (including my dog, Simon).
